La Maison de mon doudou, France

After two successful editions of the project, Patrimoine sans frontières and the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine joined their forces in order to continue to carry out « la Maison de mon doudou », a project that sought to give hospitalized children a chance to discover and experience architectural creation and design.

The project

For the third edition of the project in 2008-2009, 95 workshops took place in three different cities in France: Paris, Toulouse and Marseille. They were moderated by college students in architecture that helped the kids discover different styles of architectural creation. Together they built and decorated small houses and produced short animated films. At the end of the year PSF organized an exhibition where the results of the project were shown.
